CURRICULUM & PROGRAMS

Foundational Literacy

Heggerty provides phonemic awareness activities that help students recognize and manipulate individual sounds in words, building a vital foundation for reading success. Fundations is a structured and systematic phonics program that teaches letter-sound relationships, decoding, and spelling patterns. Together, these programs support students in developing strong decoding skills, fluent reading, and accurate spelling, while fostering confidence and a lifelong love of literacy.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS

HMH Into Reading is our core literacy program, designed to support students in becoming confident readers and writers. Students are guided through high-quality texts and lessons that support growth in comprehension, vocabulary, and written expression. The program offers a balanced mix of whole-group, small-group, and independent learning, and includes a comprehensive writing component where students learn to plan, draft, revise, and publish different types of writing.

Mathematics

enVision Math builds a strong foundation in mathematical thinking through engaging and well-structured lessons. The program combines visual models, interactive learning, and real-world problem solving to help students make meaningful connections. It supports all learners in developing confidence, curiosity, and a deep understanding of key mathematical concepts.

Social Studies

The Passport to Social Studies curriculum helps spark students’ curiosity about the world around them. Through stories, hands-on activities, and rich texts, students connect what they learn to their own lives in meaningful ways. This curriculum builds important skills like critical thinking and collaboration, while inspiring students to develop a sense of belonging and become engaged members of their community.

Science

Amplify Science is a hands-on curriculum that sparks curiosity and encourages students to think, ask questions, and explore like real scientists. The program builds essential skills like critical thinking and communication, making science both fun and relevant. The curriculum combines hands-on learning and interactive resources to develop students’ problem-solving and communication skills in an engaging environment.

VISUAL ARTS

In our visual arts program, students are encouraged to explore, create, and take pride in their artistic voice. Through engaging projects in drawing, painting, and sculpture, they learn both foundational skills and the joy of creative expression. Every child is celebrated as an artist, and their work reflects their imagination, feelings, and growing confidence.

STEM

STEM learning is hands-on, creative, and engaging. Students build with LEGO® kits, learn to code using various platforms, and dive into robotics to design and program their own creations. These hands-on experiences help students grow as thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers, giving them a strong foundation for future learning and careers. I have also attached a picture that can be uploaded for STEM.
