STUDENT COUNCIL

The Student Council gives students a voice to make changes within their school community. We will work together to develop leadership skills, build relationships with the staff and students within the school, and develop school wide initiatives to build a school atmosphere based on what the students want.

CHESs

To build critical thinking within children, this can be accomplished by teaching strategy and understanding. Playing the game of Chess builds purpose, every move must come with a purpose to benefit every opportunity. Students can use the same practice in their everyday life, every move in life should come with a purpose to succeed in the future.

Cheerleading

The Lady Wildcats cheer, dance, and light up every PS 335 event, whether it’s a pep rally, game day, or school assembly! They bring energy, confidence, and school pride to everything they do, showing what it truly means to be part of a team.

Piano

In partnership with Keys for Success, piano class is a joyful time where students explore music through rhythm, movement, and creative play. Each week, they build confidence, discover their unique talents, and experience the joy of expressing themselves through sound.

DANCE TEAM

Students will be part of the Spirit squad, performing at halftime of sporting events, as well as assemblies. Students are expected to hold themselves in high regard as they will be representing the student body. Students will also be expected to take care of their uniforms and poms as well as learn all the routines for their performances.

Debate Team

Our Debate Team helps students build confidence, critical thinking, and public speaking skills through friendly competition and thoughtful discussion. It’s a great way for students to learn how to express their ideas clearly and listen to others.

Theater

Our theater program with Inside Broadway opens the door for students to develop their voices and creativity through acting and storytelling. It’s a joyful, supportive space where every child can shine and grow their confidence on and off the stage.
